Road Safety Campaign

The campaign comes at a time when road accidents continue to affect thousands of Angolan families. Through this initiative, Pumangol takes a direct step towards improving behaviour on the roads by promoting respect for traffic rules, responsible driving, and the protection of life.

The launch event was attended by government institutions, the National Police, partners and media outlets, underscoring the collaborative nature of the project. Each partner brings essential value: Centro Óptico supports awareness on visual health, TAAG helps amplify the message, while Grupo Cosal and CIS strengthen operational and logistical components, a collective effort designed to reach as many drivers and passengers as possible.

With institutional support from the National Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety (DTSER), the campaign is aligned with the Ministry of the Interior’s national initiative Change Now, Before It’s Too Later, consolidating joint efforts to reduce road accidents in the country.

The initiative will be implemented in phases until September 2026 and includes educational activities, engagements at service stations, continuous communication, and community actions. For Pumangol, building a culture of safety is a key part of its long-term vision for mobility in Angola, where refuelling and travelling must become increasingly safe for everyone.
