Pumangol is No. 1. Three times

Recognition names the brand as No. 1 Fuel Station, No. 1 Convenience Store and, for the first time, No. 1 Angolan Identity, reinforcing consumer trust and the company’s national positioning.

Pumangol was honoured with three awards in the 2026 edition of the Escolha do Consumidor, consolidating its position as one of the leading references in the energy and convenience retail sectors in Angola. For the second consecutive year, the company was named No. 1 Fuel Station and No. 1 Convenience Store, and for the first time received recognition in the No. 1 Angolan Identity category.

The Consumer Choice study is conducted by an independent entity and evaluates brands based on criteria such as customer satisfaction, service quality, trust, innovation, and likelihood of recommendation, reflecting consumer perception at a national level in an impartial manner.

The No. 1 Fuel Station award recognises operational consistency, quality of service, and customer trust in Pumangol’s network of 83 service stations across the country. The No. 1 Convenience Store award highlights the excellence of Super 7 and SPAR Express stores, emphasising the quality and diversity of their offer and the overall customer experience.

The No. 1 Angolan Identity distinction holds particular significance, recognising Pumangol as a 100% nationally owned company, managed by Angolans, with an active contribution to economic development, job creation, talent development, and the sustainable progress of the country.

The awards ceremony took place in Luanda and brought together companies from various sectors. According to André Pitra, Executive Committee Member and CSSO of Pumangol.
