Pumangol Among the Top Ten Companies Valuing Human Capital

Tempus Global Group study highlights people management practices and work-life balance

Pumangol was named among the ten Angolan companies recognised in the inaugural edition of the Elite Employer initiative, promoted by Tempus Global Group. The recognition follows a nationwide survey conducted in 2025, which assessed people management practices and the benefits offered by organisations in Angola.

The assessment considered five pillars: Compensation and Benefits, Career, Work Environment, Organisational Culture, and Work-Life Balance. The study enables organisations to benchmark their practices against those of the market and identify opportunities to improve human capital management.

Pumangol achieved the highest score in the Angolan market for the Work-Life Balance indicator. The distinction also recognises the company's overall performance in the assessment.

The awards ceremony took place at the Epic Sana Hotel in Luanda, bringing together Human Resources Directors, board members, and business leaders. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on talent management, Human Resources practices, and the evolution of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

According to Suzana Almeida, Pumangol's Director of People and Culture, the recognition reinforces the importance of people in the organisation's strategy.
