Boa Energia Digital has a winner!

A PumOn 8 May 2026, Pumangol held the final event of the 1st edition of Boa Energia Digital at the Auditorium of the Centro de Ciências de Luanda. The programme, dedicated to incubating digital solutions for the energy sector, brought together the best ideas from a highly competitive field.

This first edition received 1,297 applications 601 in the innovation category and 122 in the technical team track. Following a rigorous selection process and an incubation period with specialised mentorship, two projects advanced to the final stage: SmartGas and Linha Segura, covering areas such as IoT, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering and sustainability.

Evaluated by a specialised jury on criteria of innovation, viability, impact and scalability, the winning project was SmartGas awarded a financial incentive of up to 15 million kwanzas and potential access to additional funding of up to 60 million kwanzas to support its implementation.

With this initiative, Pumangol reaffirms its commitment to innovation and the development of young Angolan talent, actively contributing to the transformation of the energy sector and the sustainable growth of the country.
