More than 2,000 reasons to move forward

Pumangol awarded for the third time with the Forbes Lusophone Africa CSR Award

Pumangol has received, for the third time, the Forbes Lusophone Africa Corporate Social Responsibility Award, during a ceremony held on April 24, 2026, in Luanda.

The distinction recognizes the continued impact of the SAS Saúde Até Si project, a community health initiative launched in 2014. The award confirms Pumangol as one of the Angolan companies with the greatest consistency in the field of social responsibility.

The project’s mission is to provide free medical care and medication to populations with limited access to healthcare services. Since its launch, the initiative has benefited more than 2,000 people per year through health fairs held in different regions of the country.

At these health fairs, participants have access to consultations, exams, and screenings across various specialties, including general medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, dentistry, gynecology, and nutrition. More recently, the initiative has also expanded to include surgeries, broadening its response to cases requiring specialized care.

The project is carried out in partnership with Clube dos Médicos, which ensures the mobilization of specialists across multiple fields and contributes to the quality of the services provided.

The Chairman of Pumangol’s Executive Committee highlighted the significance of this distinction:

"Receiving this award for the third time is a source of great pride and also increased responsibility. Saúde Até Si represents our commitment to bringing healthcare, hope, and dignity to communities. At Pumangol, social responsibility is not complementary, it is part of our identity."
